OD: Fiction And Lies

 Here I am write something about fiction and lies and also about  difference between alternative facts and fiction.

                 The words like truth-fact and Fiction-Lies it seems similar, but there is a huge difference among those words. There is a many debates going on among the people about some terms or words like different between 'Altrnative Fact' and 'Fiction' and difference between 'fiction' and 'lies' etc. Ursula K. Le Guin's views on difference between. 'Altrnative Fact' and 'Fiction' is very thoughtful.

               The word 'Fiction' means imagination about something. For example in literature in the form of prose, especially short stories, novels, poems that describes imaginary events and people. For example 'Panchtantra' it is all about imagination.  We know that animals will never speak language but it is all the imagination. And the word 'Alternative Fact' means about the existence of any subject, events or any other things, there is one of two or more available possibilities of existence of anything.  Example given by Ursula K. Le Guin that the Sun rises in the East is a fact, but Sun can rise in the West is a fiction, to claim that it does so as fact or alternative fact is a lie. What literary writers write is fiction. Plato calls it lies and hence poets are liars. But as per the meaning of the word 'Altrnative Fact' whatever poets write is not lies or fiction but we can say that is another possibilities of the existence of whatever the things, that we can call alternative fact. So, we can say that there is a huge difference between fiction and lies. The same thing we can apply to make opinion about literature, that literature is laying between truth, fact, fiction, alternative fact and lie.
